About Me

Hey there,
I’m Penny Perrin

Your guide, cheerleader, and occasional reality-checker as you navigate your own growth and transformation in a way that feels authentically you.

With my background as a certified coach, youth mentor and educator, I blend the wisdom gained from teaching both kindergarteners and high schoolers (yes, they’re not so different) with a life that’s taken me on a deep dive into spiritual exploration, travel and study.

Over the years, I’ve connected with folks from every walk of life, all of which has shaped my approach to coaching—a mix of heartfelt guidance, creative facilitation and a passion for helping people truly thrive.

Who Am I?

I wear a lot of hats: mom, teacher, coach, facilitator, and likely a few more I haven’t discovered yet. All these roles have one thing in common—they let me meet people where they are, see them fully and help them feel understood.

Whether I’m in a classroom, running a workshop, or deep in a one-on-one coaching session, I bring a hefty dose of curiosity, care and a dash of humour that makes things a little less heavy.

I’ve always been a bit of an oddball. As a child I was the one lost in books, asking the kinds of questions that made grown-ups nervous. That curiosity never left me—now, it’s the heart of my work. I’ve found that asking thoughtful questions can spark those moments of clarity that help you unlock your own inner wisdom. Plus, it’s a lot more fun than pretending to have all the answers.

What Have I Done?

My professional journey is more of a wild patchwork quilt than a straight line. I’ve spent over 20 years working in education and youth development, with a special focus on helping women and girls step into their own power.

In my twenties, I was a bit of a nomad, travelling the world and soaking up the wisdom of intentional communities. From learning organic market gardening with The Grail in Ohio to exploring Astroshamanism at Findhorn in Scotland, I gained some incredible experiences. I worked with the Women’s Environmental Network and Green Events Magazine in London, fascinated by how we connect to both the earth and each other.

My teaching career started in London after a transformative stint at Steiner House, where I fell in love with Waldorf education. After taking time out for motherhood, I coordinated a Waldorf school in Cape Town and eventually found my groove in high school education. Teenagers, much like toddlers, are in that glorious, chaotic stage of figuring out who they are and I love helping them do just that.

These days, I’ve shifted out of the formal classroom, but I still pour my heart into advocating for neurodivergent children and youth—especially close to my heart as an atypical woman myself.

Why I Do What I Do

Education and personal development are my lifeblood. Whether I’m helping a woman step into her power, guiding a teen through the maze of adolescence, or helping a team find their rhythm, my work is rooted in a deep desire to make a difference.

As a girl who always felt a little “different”—often daydreaming and living in the clouds—I know how hard it can be to wrestle with self-acceptance. Those experiences shaped my passion for helping others, especially young girls and women, embrace their true selves. I know firsthand how life-changing it can be when someone believes in you and shows you how to believe in yourself.

Why I Love It

I love this work because it lets me blend my creative spirit with my passion for personal development.

I see myself as a social artist—drawing from creativity, deep listening and open-hearted communication.

Who Do I Help?

I work with all sorts of people: tweens gearing up for adolescence, busy moms searching for direction, women ready to re-enter the workforce and teenagers at life’s many crossroads.

What unites them is the desire to grow, transform, and live more fully, and that’s where I come in.
